The Rialto Bridge is probably the most visited and most photographed bridge in Venice. The bridge connects the districts of San Polo and San Marco across the Grand Canal. The present iteration of the bridge was completed in 1591 and is a favorite destination of tourists.
Getting a view from the top of the bridge takes patience as the rails are lined with people taking photos. Once you get the desired spot, it’s easy to see why the bridge is so crowded. As you can see, the view is pretty awesome and it is easy to get mesmerized with all of the boats and gondolas maneuvering the Grand Canal. Scenes like this one make Venice one of my most favorite places in the world.
Great image Len, it feels both tranquil and full of life at the same time

Awesome piece Len. This has a lovely, sweeping curve to it
Stunning shot here, Len. I can see why there is a wait to get in position to grab one of these. Really like the processing on this, great color balance. Awesome work!

Love the way the gondola on the left and the shadow line in the water help to direct my eye into and through the scene. Great processing to balance everything so nicely. Great image, Len!

This is the not so often seen side of the bridge I believe. You’ve done a nice job here Len.

Very nice shot man. Love the water color against the buildings.
Beautiful image – I really like the line of shadow down the canal that curves gently into the corner. We had the privilege in the UK of being treated to a marvellous exhibition of Canaletto’s work about a year ago. That was an enthralling sight.
