One thing I love about Yosemite is that there is so much to do. While the guys were rafting down the Merced River, I headed down to the other end of the river to catch the great light coming through onto El Captan.
Fantastic landscape photography. I have always had trouble dealing with the large amount of detail captured in the treas and poor contrast and detail in the real subject I want. HDR photography has help, however I must always apply it conservatively for the best results. You might find some of my photography interesting, I deal with a lot of macro and seascapes myself.
