A great place to photograph Half Dome is at Sentinel Bridge. As the sun begins to set, Half Dome is bathed in a wonderful warm glow. Over the span of 20 minutes, the shadows start moving up to the top of Half Dome. This shot was taken when it was fully illuminated. If you are planning to take this shot, get to the bridge early to set up your tripod as it becomes very crowded quickly.
